22 июля Петр Порошенко сделал громкое заявление об автокефалии украинской православной церкви, назвав это вопросом независимости Украины. Сегодня, 23 июля, Александр Захарченко прокомментировал заявление украинского президента. Об этом сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР.
«На сегодня в Украине сосуществуют 3 церкви – это украинская православная церковь Московского патриархата, украинская православная церковь Киевского патриархата и украинская автокефальная церковь. Единственной признанной мировым православием является украинская православная церковь Московского патриархата.
Киевская власть пытается создать новую поместную церковь и просит на это разрешение Патриарха Константинопольского Варфоломея. Мы категорически против создания поместной церкви, так как это может привести к разжиганию религиозной войны и еще большему зомбированию украинских граждан.
Официально заявляю – на территории Донецкой Народной Республики мы никогда не допустим разжигания межрелигиозных войн. Хочу напомнить всем: в 2014 году мы поднялись с оружием в руках защищать русский язык, свою веру и свободу. И впредь не допустим никакой религиозной войны. В том случае, если Порошенко добьется своего, то кровопролитие, которое может произойти, будет на его совести.
Хочу обратиться к Патриарху Константинопольскому Варфоломею — не допустить кровопролития», – подчеркнул Глава ДНР.

Today, on July 23rd, Alexander Zakharchenko commented on the statement of the Ukrainian president. A correspondent of the DPR official site reports this.
“There are 3 churches coexisting in Ukraine today: the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate and the Ukrainian Autocephalous Church. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is the only church recognized by the world Orthodoxy.
The Kiev government is trying to create a new local church and ask for permission from the Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew. We categorically speak out against the creation of the local church, as this may lead to the kindling of a religious war and even more brainwashing of Ukrainian citizens.
Officially I declare that in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic we will never allow enkindling interreligious wars. I want to remind everyone: in 2014 we rose with weapons in our hands to defend the Russian language, our faith and freedom. And henceforth we will not let any religious war. In the event that Poroshenko carries his point, the bloodshed that may occur will be on his conscience.
I want to appeal to Bartholomew the Patriarch of Constantinople to prevent the bloodshed,” the DPR Head stressed.
