Председатель Народного Совета ДНР, постоянный полпред ДНР на переговорах Контактной группы в Минске Денис Пушилин сделал официальное заявление о недопустимости давления со стороны Украины в связи с предстоящими выборами в ДНР. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба Народного Совета.
«В последнее время на республики и участников Контактной группы оказывается разностороннее давление в связи с предстоящими выборами парламентов и глав ДНР и ЛНР.
Официально заявляю: мы на провокации и давление не будем обращать внимания. Порядок подготовки, сроки и особенности проведения выборов мы определим сами. Источником власти в ДНР является народ, и высшим ее выражением являются свободные выборы. Эти и другие принципы закреплены в Конституции ДНР, а значит, должны быть реализованы. Народ Донбасса сам решит, когда и как проводить выборы, а также — чьи кандидатуры будут достойными в представлении его интересов на высших государственных постах.
Что касается украинских властей, то им стоит озаботиться закреплением закона об особом статусе Донбасса на постоянной основе. Закон действует один год (принят в октябре 2017 года), именно поэтому срок его действия скоро подойдет к концу. Об этом мы сегодня в очередной раз напомнили украинской стороне», — подчеркнул Денис Пушилин.

Recently, the Republics and the Minsk Contact Group have been subjected to all kinds of pressure due to the upcoming parliamentary elections and election of the DPR and the LPR Heads.
I officially declare that we will not pay attention to provocations and pressure. We will determine the order of preparation, timing and specifics of the election. The source of power in the DPR is the people, and its highest expression is free elections. These and other principles are enshrined in the DPR Constitution, and, therefore, must be implemented. The Donbass people themselves will decide when and how to conduct elections, as well as choose those who are worthy of representing their interests at the highest state posts.
As for the Ukrainian authorities, they should take care of consolidating the law on the special status of the Donbass on an ongoing basis. The law is valid for one year (adopted in October 2017), which is why the term of its validity will soon end. We reminded the Ukrainian party of this once again today,” Denis Pushilin emphasized.
