Как сообщает пресс-служба омбудсмена, 27 июля в закрытом режиме состоялась рабочая встреча Уполномоченного по правам человека в ДНР Дарьи Морозовой с главой донецкого офиса Международного комитета Красного Креста Ташей Рюмлей.
В рамках встречи обсуждались результаты последнего заседания гуманитарной подгруппы в Минске. Дарья Морозова рассказала о препятствиях в проведении второго этапа обмена удерживаемыми лицами и о деструктивной позиции украинской стороны.
Она также сообщила, что в ДНР есть 19 осужденных, которые выразили желание продолжать отбывать наказание на территории Украины. Со стороны Республики все подготовлено для осуществления процедуры передачи, однако бездействие украинской стороны не позволяет завершить этот процесс.
Кроме того, во время встречи поднимался вопрос поиска лиц, пропавших без вести. Уполномоченный по правам человека в ДНР подчеркнула, что решение этого вопроса крайне важно, так как на протяжении долгого времени людям ничего неизвестно о местонахождении и судьбе близких. В завершение встречи омбудсмен и представители МККК выразили готовность к дальнейшему сотрудничеству.
As the Ombudsperson’s press service reported, on July 27th, there was a working meeting,behind closed doors,featuring DPR Human Rights Commissioner Darya Morozova and head of the Donetsk office of the International Committee of the Red Cross Tasha Rumley.
Within the framework of the meeting, the results of thehumanitarian subgroup’s last meeting in Minsk were discussed. Darya Morozovatold about the obstacles of holding the second stage of the exchange of detainees and about the destructive position of the Ukrainian side.
She also reported that there were 19 convicts in the DPR who had wished continue serving their sentence in the territory of Ukraine. On the part of the Republic, everything has been prepared to implement the transfer procedure, but the inaction of the Ukrainian side does not allow completing this process.
In addition, during the meeting, the issue of searching for persons missing was raised. The DPR Commissioner for Human Rights stressed that the solution of this issue was extremely important, since for a long time people knew nothing about the whereabouts and the fate of their relatives. At the end of the meeting, the Ombudsperson and ICRC officials expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
