Сегодня, 16 сентября, тысячи жителей и гостей Дебальцево приняли участие в торжественном шествии, посвященном 140-летнему юбилею города. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, в праздничных мероприятиях принял участие врио Главы ДНР Денис Пушилин, и.о. администрации Дебальцево Игорь Маринков, депутаты Народного Совета ДНР Михаил Жуков и Герман Кадыров, руководитель Центрального исполкома ОД «Донецкая Республика» Наталья Волкова, гендиректор ГП «Донецкая железная дорога» Олег Калеватых.

Открывала шествие колона барабанщиков, затем шел коллектив администрации Дебальцево, почетные жители города, трудовые коллективы образовательных учреждений, участники детских творческих коллективов, победители олимпиад, учащиеся школ, работники железной дороги. Всего в шествии приняло участие порядка 2000 человек.

«Дорогие земляки! В этом году Дебальцево отмечает свой юбилей — 140 лет. Мы с вами видели, сколько трудностей пришлось пережить городу Дебальцево и его жителям. Считаю, что эти тяготы остались позади.

В начале 2015 года погибло много наших земляков, но ценой своей жизни они спасли тысячи людей. Они смогли вывести из оккупации город, заложить начало большого и светлого пути. А жители Дебальцево доказали, что они смелые, мужественные и стойкие люди.

Я призываю вас начинать менять жизнь с себя. Если вокруг вас всё будет меняться, будет меняться город и Республика. И тогда мы действительно сможем гордиться тем, что построили. Нам не будет стыдно перед нашими потомками», — обратился к жителям Дебальцево Денис Пушилин.

Также врио Главы ДНР отметил, что после всего, что пришлось пережить городу и его жителям в военные дни, никто так не достоин звания «Города воинской славы», как Дебальцево.

Сегодня Дебальцево было присвоено Почетное звание «Город воинской славы».

Кроме того, за добросовестный труд, значительный вклад в восстановление предприятия, обеспечения продовольственной безопасности Республики Почетной грамотой врио Главы ДНР был награжден коллектив хлебокомбината города Дебальцево.

И.о.главы администрации Дебальцево Игорь Маринков, поздравляя жителей Дебальцево с праздником, пожелал каждой семье счастья и достатка, а всей Республике — мира и процветания.

После праздничного мероприятия врио Главы ДНР Денис Пушилин посетил выставку железнодорожной техники, которая проходит в Дебальцево.

Денис Пушилин ознакомился с представленными экспонатами. Также для врио Главы ДНР провели экскурсию по железнодорожному вокзалу станции Дебальцево и рассказали его историю создания и развития.

Today, on September 16th, thousands of residents and guests of Debaltsevo took part in a solemn procession, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the town. According to a correspondent of the DPR official website, the festivities were attended by interim Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, acting head of Debaltsevo administration Igor Marinkov, deputies of the DPR People’s Council Mikhail Zhukov and Herman Kadyrov, chief of the central executive committee of the Donetsk Republic PM Natalia Volkova and general director of the Donetsk Railways State Enterprise Oleg Kalevatykh.

A line of drummers led the procession, followed by the staff of Debaltsevo administration, honorary residents of the town, staffs of educational institutions, members of children’s creative teams, winners of academic competitions, school students and railway workers. In total, about 2000 people participated in the procession.

“Dear fellow citizens! This year, Debaltsevo celebrates the 140th jubilee. We all saw how much hardship the town of Debaltsevo and the locals had to experience. I think these hardships have fallen behind.

In early 2015, many of our countrymen perished, but at the cost of their lives they saved thousands of people. They were able to get the town from the occupation, to set the beginning of a big and bright path. And the residents of Debaltsevo have proven they are brave, courageous and persistent people.

I urge you to change life starting with yourselves. If everything around you changes, the town and the Republic will change as well. And then we can really be proud of what we have built. We will not be ashamed of our offspring,” Denis Pushilin addressed the residents of Debaltsevo.

In addition, the interim Head of the DPR noted that after everything that the town and the locals had had to endure during war days, no one ever deserved the Town of Military Glory title like Debaltsevo did.

Today Debaltsevo has been bestowed the honorary title of Town of Military Glory.

In addition, the DPR interim Head awarded the staff of the Debaltsevo bakery a Certificate of Appreciation for their conscientious work, their significant contribution to the restoration of the enterprise and provision of food security of the Republic.

Acting head of Debaltsevo administration Igor Marinkov, congratulating the residents of Debaltsevo on the occasion, wished every family happiness and welfare, and peace and prosperity to the entire Republic.

After the festive event, interim Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin visited the exhibition of railway equipment, which is taking place in Debaltsevo.

Denis Pushilin got familiarized with the exhibits displayed. Also for the interim Head of the DPR, they conducted a tour at the railway station of Debaltsevo and told history of its creation and development.
