Врио Главы Донецкой Народной Республики Денис Пушилин 26 сентября встретился с делегацией Конфедерации независимых футбольных ассоциаций (ConIFA), которая с рабочим визитом прибыла в Донецк. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, с нашей стороны во встрече также участвовали и.о. заместителя Председателя Совета Министров ДНР Владимир Антонов, и.о. министра молодежи, спорта и туризма ДНР Александр Громаков, заместитель министра молодежи, спорта и туризма ДНР Николай Тарапата и президент Республиканского футбольного союза ДНР Игорь Петров.

«Мы благодарны вам за визит в Донецкую Народную Республику! Считаю ваш приезд к нам проявлением доброй воли и смелым поступком. Футбольные соревнования, проходящие под эгидой ConIFA, — это замечательная возможность заявить о себе на весь мир всем народам, стремящимся к свободе и независимости. К сожалению, мир сейчас далек от настоящей демократии, зачастую мы видим наглядные примеры применения двойных стандартов и различную трактовку даже по похожим событиям. При этом мнение людей полностью игнорируется», — заявил врио Главы ДНР Денис Пушилин.

Он напомнил, что территория Донецкой и Луганской Народных Республик достаточна большая и на ней проживают порядка 4 млн. человек, что сопоставимо с некоторыми европейскими государствами. «Несмотря на все геополитические сложности, ваша организация ставит во главу угла интересы людей, интересы спорта. И во многом это дает надежду!», — отметил в начале встречи Денис Пушилин.

Как подчеркнул президент ConIFA Пер Андерс Блинд, ConIFA — это большой проект ради мира. «Я считаю, что футбол — это инструмент для достижения более высоких целей. Нас не интересует политика. Мы хотим показать всему миру правдивую картину происходящего у вас. Сегодня существуют много народов и государств, которые изолировали от спорта, исходя из политических причин. Мы считаем, что каждый должен иметь возможность играть в футбол и показывать, насколько он силен в этой игре. Также мы считаем, что ConIFA играет важную роль в информировании людей», — сказал он.

Пер Андрес Блинд признался, что перед поездкой изучал ситуацию в Донецке, но его друзья говорили ему, чтобы он был осторожным. «Важно, что мы увидели своими собственными глазами. Считаю, что участие Донецкой Народной Республики в нашей организации даст возможность миру получить правдивую информацию о Донецке», — отметил он. Руководитель ConIFA сказал, что этому поможет организация крупного соревнования в Донецке под этой эгидой. «Я считаю, что Донецк вполне заслуживает принять его. Здесь доброжелательные люди, мирового класса инфраструктура», — подчеркнул президент ConIFA.

«Донецк и Донбасс в целом являются футбольным краем, с хорошими футбольными традициями. И нашим гражданам не хватает количества футбольных соревнований, и это будет уместно, если под эгидой ConIFA их можно было провести. Вся инфраструктура для этого есть! Рассчитываем на это», — сказал врио Главы ДНР Денис Пушилин.

Напомним, что утром 26 сентября делегация ConIFA ознакомилась с состоянием спортивных объектов Донецка. Они посетили РСК «Олимпийский», стадион «Донбасс Арена», СК «Кировец». Вечером гости посетят первый матч Кубка чемпионов Донбасса на стадионе «Металлург».

Конфедерация независимых футбольных ассоциаций (ConIFA) объединяет более 40 членов. В ее состав входят футбольные сборные команды, официально не входящие в ФИФА, представляющие население непризнанных государств в 340 млн. человек.

Interim Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin met with the delegation of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA) on September 26th, whopaid a working visit to Donetsk. According to a correspondent of the DPR official website, for our part the meetingwas attended by acting Deputy Chairman of the DPR Council of Ministers Vladimir Antonov, acting. Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the DPR Alexander Gromakov, Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the DPR Nikolai Tarapata and President of the DPR Republic Football Union Igor Petrov.

“We are grateful to you for your visit to the Donetsk People’s Republic! I consider your visit to be a manifestation of goodwill and a bold move. Football competitions, held under the auspices of CONIFA, is a great opportunity to declare yourself to the entire world and all nations who strive for freedom and independence. Unfortunately, the world is now far from the real democracy, often we see vivid examples of double standards and different interpretations even of similar events. At the same time, people’s opinion is completely ignored,” interim Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin claimed.

He reminds that the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics is large enough and it has about 4 million people, which is comparable to some European states. “Despite all the geopolitical difficulties, your organization places the interests of people and sports interestsfront and center. And in many respects that gives hope!” Denis Pushilin emphasized at the beginning of the meeting.

According to CONIFA PresidentPer-Anders Blind, this is a big project for the sake of peace. “I believe that football is a tool to achieve higher goals. We are not interested in politics. We want to show the entire world a truthful picture of what is happening here. Today, there are many nations and states that have been isolated from sports, given the political reasons. We believe that everyone should be able to play football and show how strong theyare at this game. We also believe that CONIFA plays an important role in creating awarenessamong people,” he said.

Per-Andres Blind admitted that before the trip, he had studied the situation in Donetsk, but his friends told him to be cautious. “It is important that we saw it with our own eyes. I believe that the participation of the Donetsk People’s Republic in our organization will allow the world to get truthful information about Donetsk,” he noted. The CONIFA leader said that a major competition organized in Donetsk under this aegis would help. “I believe that Donetsk deserves to host it. There are well-intentioned people, world-class infrastructure here,” the CONIFA President highlighted.

“Donetsk and Donbass as a whole are a football land, with good football traditions. And our citizens missfootball competitions, and it will be appropriate if under the aegis of CONIFA they could take place. We have got all necessary infrastructure for this! We reckon on this,” interim Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said.

Recall that on the morning of September 26th, the delegation of CONIFA was acquainted with the state of sports facilities in Donetsk. They visited Olimpiyskiy Regional Sports Complex, Donbass Arena Stadium, Kirovets Sports Complex. In the evening, the guests are going to visit the first match of the Donbass Champions Cup at the Metallurg stadium.

The Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA) unites over 40 members. It includes football teams that are not included in FIFA officially, representing populations of unrecognized states numbering 340 million people.
