На главной площади столицы ДНР 11 ноября состоялся торжественный митинг по случаю завершения голосования на выборах Главы и депутатов Республики. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, участие в мероприятии приняли более 15 тысяч дончан и гостей города.
Со сцены, установленной на площади им. Ленина, к собравшимся обратился врио Главы ДНР, кандидат на пост Главы Республики Денис Пушилин.
«Это победа всей Донецкой Народной Республики. Сегодня преодолен исторический рубеж, после которого стало очевидно всем, что мы – государство, с которым придется считаться всему миру. Игнорировать волю и голос народа не позволено никому. Сегодня мы сдали важный гражданский и политический экзамен, мы доказали всему миру, что умеем не только воевать, но и строить государство, основанное на реальных демократических принципах.
Свой главный выбор народ Донбасса сделал 11 мая 2014 года, когда на карте мира появилась новая страна – Донецкая Народная Республика. Нам было трудно, но мы добивались выдающихся побед и достижений. Мы стали сильнее, движемся вперед и уверенно смотрим в будущее. Наш выбор – победа, наш выбор – процветание, наш выбор – Донецкая Народная Республика», — отметил Пушилин.
Участие в мероприятии также приняли кандидаты в депутаты Народного Совета II созыва.
«Здесь собрались десятки тысяч людей, чтобы подтвердить свой выбор, сделанный в мае 2014 года. Тогда мы сказали «нет» преступному режиму в Киеве, чуждой нам бандеровской идеологии. Сегодня мы говорим «да» развитию и процветанию, свободной и развивающейся Донецкой Народной Республике. Я уверен, что с новым лидером мы добьемся всех поставленных целей», — подчеркнул Валерий Скороходов.
О важности выборов для дальнейшего развития государства говорил и Алексей Жигулин: «Сегодня мы сделали то, на что в других странах уходят долгие десятилетия. Несмотря на войну, мы показали всему миру, как можем провести демократические и по-настоящему свободные выборы. Сегодня мы определили путь развития нашей Республики – это путь созидания, промышленного возрождения Донбасса и интеграции с братской Россией».
On November 11, the main square of the DPR capital hosted a grand rally on the occasion of the finished polling for the elections of the Head and deputies of the Republic. According to a correspondent of the DPR official website, over 15,000 residents of Donetsk and guests of the city took part in the event.
From the scene in Lenin square, interim Head of the DPR and candidate for the office of Head of the Republic Denis Pushilin addressed the audience.
“This is a victory of the entire Donetsk People’s Republic. Today, we have overcome a historical milestone, after which it became obvious to everyone that we are the state that the entire world will have to reckon with. No one is allowed to ignore the will and voice of the nation. Today we have passed an important civil and political test, we have proved the entire world that along with fighting we also can build a state based on real democratic principles.
The people of Donbass made their main choice back in 2014, on the 11th of May, when a new country appeared on the world map — the Donetsk People’s Republic. It was tough for us, but we were seeking outstanding victories and achievements. We have grown stronger, we are moving forward and confidently look to the future. Our choice is a victory, our choice is prosperity, our choice is the Donetsk People’s Republic,” Pushilin emphasized.
Nominees for deputies of the People’s Council of the 2nd convocation also took part in the event.
“Tens of thousands of people have gathered here to confirm their choice made in May 2014. Then we said “no” to the criminal regime of Kiev and the Banderite ideology, which is alien to us. Today we are saying “yes” to the development and prosperity of the free and developing Donetsk People’s Republic. I am sure that with a new leader we will achieve all the goals we have set,” Valery Skorokhodov stressed.
Alexey Zhigulin also spoke about the importance of the elections to the further development of the state, “Today we have done what takes decades in other countries. Despite the war, we showed the whole world how we could hold democratic and truly free elections. Today we have decided the path of development of our Republic — this is the path of creation, the industrial revival of Donbass and integration with fraternal Russia.”
