Массовый захват церквей УПЦ Московского патриархата на территории Украины – это очередной виток войны против собственных граждан. Об этом в интервью корреспонденту официального сайта ДНР рассказала Уполномоченный по правам человека Дарья Морозова.
«Это продолжается с 2014 года, постоянные репрессии начались еще в тот период. А сегодня эти действия просто узаконились.
Конечно же, сложившаяся ситуация – это нарушение права на свободное вероисповедание. Но еще это очередная война. Когда не смогли сломать мировоззрение людей, пошли еще дальше. Сегодня религиозная война набирает обороты, и страшно предположить, что из этого получится. Мне искренне жаль людей, которые оказались по разные стороны», — констатировала омбудсмен.
В тоже время, по словам Морозовой, на территории ДНР право на свободное вероисповедание соблюдается неукоснительно.

Of course, the current situation is a violation of the right to religious freedom. But this is yet another war. When they did not manage to break the worldview of the people, they took it a step further. Today, the religion-related is heating up, and there’s no telling what can come of it. I am sincerely sorry for the people who have ended up on opposite sides,” the Ombudsperson stated.
At the same time, according to Morozova, the right to religious freedom is strictly observed in the DPR territory.
