«Эта победа больше касается тех, кто победил в годы Великой Отечественной войны, тех, кого уже нет — это мой дед, моя бабушка, мой прадед погиб под Одессой, защищая свой город. Они защищали свой город от врага. Я поздравляю жителей Одессы с такой знаменательной датой — 75-летием освобождения Одессы от немецко-фашистских захватчиков, но как тяжело об этом говорить, когда город захвачен и уже пятый год и все пытаются делать вид, что ничего не происходит», — сказал Александр Воскобойников.
In an exclusive interview with a correspondent the state’s official website, Alexander Voskoboynikov, the author of the YouTube channel “Odessa Public Television”, told about the life of the city of Odessa, its problems and troubles, as well as about the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the city from the fascist invaders during the Great Patriotic War.
“This victory has more to do with those who won the Great Patriotic War, those who have passed away: my grandfather, my grandmother, my great-grandfather, who died near Odessa defending his city. They defended their city from the enemy. I congratulate the residents of Odessa on such a significant date — the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Odessa from the Nazi invaders, but it is hard to talk about this when the city is occupied, and for five years already everyone has been trying to pretend that nothing is happening,” Alexander Voskoboynikov said.
