О новом фильме «Балканский рубеж», подробностях участия в съемках фильмов об индейцах, жизни восточных немцев в объединенной Германии рассказал 17 апреля в ходе пресс-конференции в Донецке легендарный сербский актер, режиссер Гойко Митич.

«Очень рад, что я здесь. Знаю, что в Донбассе живут сербы еще со времен Екатерины Великой. Поэтому моим желанием было приехать к вам», — сказал он.

Актер сказал, что новый фильм «Балканский рубеж» о событиях в Косово очень эмоционален и показывает людям, что никому не нужна война. Гойко Митич, отвечая на вопросы журналистов, сказал, что рассмотрит предложения, если они поступят, об участии в фильме о событиях в Донбассе.

Говоря о легендарных фильмах об индейцах, на которых выросло несколько поколений людей на территории бывшего Советского Союза и стран Восточной Европы, актер сказал, что эти кинокартины были не только развлекательными. «Они были и исторически точными. Было интересно показать, как белые люди из Европы пришли в Америку, их отношение к индейцам. Ведь первых европейцев индейцы фактически спасли, помогли им выжить на незнакомой территории. Мы в своих фильмах показывали, что индейцы живут в ладу с природой. Они от матери-Земли берут не больше, чем им нужно. А мы сегодня что делаем? Уничтожаем окружающую среду. Ведь не нужно миллирдов денег, человек должен жить скромно, природно жить», — рассказал он.

Легендарный актер считает, что ему не нужно заниматься политической деятельностью. «У меня, как у всех людей, есть свое политическое мнение. Но как актер я должен выразить его через свою роль», — подчеркнул он.

Напомним, что сегодня во время своего пребывания в Донецке Гойко Митич ранее посетил краеведческий музей, музыкально-драматический театр, побывал на улице Стратонавтов в Куйбышевском районе, неподалеку от аэропорта.

По завершении пресс-конференции министр информации ДНР Игорь Антипов вручил Гойко Митичу книги, рассказывающие о событиях в Донбассе. Затем с актером прошла автографсессия.

“I’m really glad to be here. I know that the Serbians have been living in Donbass since the time of Catherine the Great. Therefore, it was my desire to come to you,” he said.

The actor said that the new film “The Balkan Frontier” about the events in Kosovo is very emotional and shows people that no one needs a war. Gojko Mitić, answering reporters’ questions, said that he would consider proposals, if any, to star in a film about the events in Donbass.

Speaking about the legendary films of the Native Americans, which several generations of people grew up on in the territory of the former Soviet Union and the countries of Eastern Europe, the actor said that these films were not just entertaining. “They are historically accurate. It was interesting to show how white people from Europe came to America, their attitude towards the Native Americans. After all, the first Europeans were actually rescued by the Native Americans, they helped them survive in the strange territory. We in our films showed that the Native Americans live in harmony with nature. They take from Earth Mother no more than they have to. And what are we doing today? We are destroying the environment. After all, there is no need for billions of money; a person should live modestly, in close communion with nature,” he told.

The legendary actor believes that he does not need to engage in political activities. “I, like all people, have my own political opinion. But as an actor, I have to express it through my role,” he stressed.

Recall that today, during his stay in Donetsk, Gojko Mitić had previously visited the local history museum, the music and drama theater, visited Stratonavtov Street in Kuibyshevsky District, not far from the airport.

At the end of the press conference, Minister of Information of the DPR Igor Antipov presented Gojko Mitić books of the events in Donbass. Then the actor was signing autographs.
