Сегодня состоялась встреча рабочей группы по вопросам безопасности и Контактной группы в режиме видеоконференции. Как сообщает Представительство ДНР в СЦКК и в переговорном процессе, единственным и важнейшим вопросом повестки было согласование параметров возобновления обязательств сторон по введению всеобъемлющего, безусловного перемирия в преддверии пасхальных праздников.
Усилия остальных участников были проигнорированы официальным Киевом – его представители в рабочей группе по вопросам безопасности продолжили свою прежнюю деструктивную линию: отказались обсуждать и согласовывать с представителями Республик конкретные дополнительные меры усиления и контроля перемирия, которые должны быть включены в текст заявления Контактной группы о возобновлении обязательств сторон по соблюдению режима прекращения огня. При этом на заседании самой Контактной группы украинские переговорщики отказались даже от обсуждения предложенного ОБСЕ варианта заявления, который содержал некоторые дополнительные меры.
«К сожалению, откровенная неадекватность украинской стороны, которая в своих фантазиях продолжает воевать с РФ, сделала все, чтобы не достичь консенсуса в решении важнейшей задачи – обеспечить всеобъемлющий и стабильный режим прекращения огня, создав тем самым прецедент несогласования перемирия.
Любые односторонние заявления — не более чем имитация реальных практических шагов, направленных на достижение эффективности мирных инициатив. Безусловно, мы заинтересованы в скорейшем согласовании действенного перемирия в преддверии пасхальных праздников, однако очевидно, что это возможно только в случае принятия дополнительных мер его усиления и контроля.
Надеемся, что на предстоящей встрече в Минске 24 апреля украинская сторона все-таки умерит свои политические амбиции и поддержит мирные инициативы по введению действующего, а не фиктивного пасхального перемирия», — говорится в сообщении Представительства ДНР в СЦКК и переговорном процессе.
A meeting of the working group for security issues and the Contact Group via videoconference was held today. According to the DPR Representative Office to the JCCC and the negotiation process, the only and most important issue on the agenda involved agreeing on the parameters for renewing the obligations of the parties to introduce a comprehensive, unconditional truce on the eve of Easter holidays.
The efforts of the other participants were ignored by the official Kiev – its representatives to the working group for security issues continued their previous destructive line: they refused to discuss and coordinate with representatives of the Republic specific additional measures for strengthening and controlling the truce, which should be included in the text of the Contact Group’s statement on renewing the obligations of the parties on compliance with the ceasefire. At the same time, at the meeting of the Contact Group itself, the Ukrainian negotiators even refused to discuss the variant of the statement proposed by the OSCE, which contained some additional measures.
“Unfortunately, the blatant inappropriateness of the Ukrainian side, who in their fantasies continue to fight against the Russian Federation, did everything not to reach a consensus in solving the most important task – ensuring a comprehensive and stable ceasefire, thereby creating a precedent for disagreeing to the truce.
Any unilateral statements are nothing else but an imitation of real practical steps aimed at achieving the effectiveness of the peace initiatives. Of course, we are interested in the earliest possible agreement on an effective truce on the eve of Easter holidays, but it is clear that this will be possible only if additional measures are taken to strengthen and control it.
We hope that at the upcoming meeting in Minsk on April 24th, the Ukrainian side will still moderate their political ambitions and support the peace initiatives to introduce a valid truce, rather than the fictitious Easter truce,” the DPR Representative Office to the JCCC and the negotiation process said in the statement.
