Решение Президента Российской Федерации об упрощенном порядке получения российского гражданства для наших жителей – это важнейший, долгожданный для всего населения Донецкой Народной Республики шаг, демонстрирующий столь необходимую для нас поддержку и заботу со стороны России, заявила министр иностранных дел, полпред ДНР на переговорах в Минске Наталья Никонорова.
«В очередной раз власти Российской Федерации подтверждают, что им небезразличны судьбы жителей республик. Россия остается государством, для которого такие слова, как права и свободы человека, остаются не пустым звуком. В отличие от украинских властей, которые не только проводят против своих граждан военные операции, но и принимают нормативные правовые акты, на законодательном уровне лишающие прав и свобод жителей Донбасса, устанавливают экономическую, транспортную, гуманитарную блокаду, отказываются выплачивать пенсии, а иногда даже прямо говорят о необходимости «зачисток» нашей территории.
При таком откровенно враждебном отношении со стороны Украины предпринятая Президентом Российской Федерации мера – это объективно существующая в сегодняшних реалиях жизненная необходимость. Мы крайне благодарны российскому государству и лично Президенту Владимиру Путину за столь важный и существенный для всех жителей Республик шаг», — прокомментировала Никонорова.
The decision of the President of the Russian Federation on the simplified procedure for granting Russian citizenship to our residents is the most important, long-awaited step for the entire population of the Donetsk People’s Republic, which demonstrates Russia’s support and care that is so necessary for us, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, plenipotentiary of the DPR to the Minsk talks Natalya Nikonorova.
“The authorities of the Russian Federation once again confirm that they are concerned about the fates of the residents of the republics. Russia remains a state for which such words as human rights and freedoms are not an empty phrase. Unlike the Ukrainian authorities, which not only lead military operations against their citizens, but also adopt regulatory legal acts that deprive the residents of Donbass of their rights and freedoms, impose economic, transport, humanitarian blockades, refuse to pay pensions, and sometimes even speak frankly about the need to mop up our territory.
With such a frankly hostile attitude of Ukraine, the measure taken by the President of the Russian Federation is an objective and vital necessity existing in today’s realities. We are enormously grateful to the Russian state and personally to President Vladimir Putin for taking such a step, which is so important and significant to all residents of the Republics,” Nikonorova commented.
