Вечером 2 мая на площади имени Ленина в Донецке состоялось мероприятие, приуроченное к трагическим событиям в Одессе 2 мая 2014 года. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, почтить память погибших пять лет назад от действий украинских радикалов в Доме профсоюзов мирных граждан сегодня пришли несколько тысяч дончан.

«Сегодня мы собрались здесь для того, чтобы почтить память тех, кто пять лет назад погиб в Одессе в Доме профсоюзов. Нет такого человека, который бы не знал о том ужасе, который произошел там. Мы, вспоминая те события, помним о той жестокости, которая произошла. Я помню глаза наших людей, которые были наполнены слезами, болью и вопросом: как такое могло произойти? Каждый принял эту трагедию как свою личную, каждое сердце ныло болью о тех невинных жертвах. На этот вопрос можно ответить словами Святейшего Патриарха Кирилла, который говорил: если человек забывает нравственные духовные принципы — он превращается в животное. Я думаю, что в этих словах можно найти ответ на то, что произошло в Одессе: люди потеряли человеческий лик. В эти дни хочется молиться о тех, кто невинно пострадал там, чтобы Господь дал им вечную жизнь в мире, радости, чтобы не было страданий. В наших храмах записаны все их имена и мы молимся о них», — сказал епископ Новоазовский Варсонофий. Он призвал всех присутствующих помолиться сегодня о каждом из погибших в Одессе 2 мая 2014 года, зачитав их имена.

Как подчеркнул Глава Донецкой Народной Республики Денис Пушилин, уже пять лет прошло с того страшного дня, когда приверженцы нацистов заживо сожгли мирных граждан. «Люди, которые навсегда остались в Доме профсоюзов, навечно остались верны своей вере, убеждениям. Для нас события 2 мая показали, что наши пути окончательно разошлись с «постмайданной» Украиной. Мы — разные! У нас разные мысли, разные ценности и идеалы. Мы не имеем права и не забудем о всех чудовищных преступлениях киевского режима. Мы остаемся в своих убеждениях непоколебимыми! Все виновные должны быть наказаны! И мы для этого сделаем все от нас зависящее! Память о погибших навсегда останется в наших сердцах», — заявил Денис Пушилин.

Председатель Народного Совета Владимир Бидёвка сказал, что события в одесском Доме профсоюзов стали страшной трагедией в общей русской истории. «Увы, 2 мая — это день скорби, боли, чувства утраты. Этот день поставил точки над «i». Многие люди убедились, что нам не по пути с фашистской Украиной. Мы не хотим быть вместе с теми нелюдями, извергами, которые зверски убивают женщину, ребенка или подростка. К сожалению, преступники до сих пор не найдены. Да их никто не ищет! Потому что нынешней власти на Украине это и не надо. Но правда обязательно восторжествует, ее узнает весь мир», — отметил он.

По словам руководителя Центрального исполкома общественного движения «Донецка Республика» Алексея Муратова, Одесса 2 мая 2014 года стала местом кровавых событий. «Стыдно быть украинцем после таких событий, когда огромное количество людей видели все это и молчали. И мы понимаем, что это не просто бойня, переросшая в массовое убийство, а это инструмент для того, чтобы разорвать некогда единый русский народ. И мы знаем, кто стоит за этим! Знаем их по бойне в Югославии, мы знаем, за каким океаном находятся «повара» этой кровавой «кухни». И важно украинцам прозреть», — сказал он.

Потом выступили непосредственные очевидцы тех событий — одесситы, которые сражаются теперь за свободу ДНР и Одессы.

После этого минутой молчания участники мероприятия почтили память всех погибших людей в Доме профсоюзов в Одессе 2 мая 2014 года. Затем люди возложили цветы к месту, где был список погибших и зажжены поминальные лампадки. Кроме цветов дончане несли и мягкие игрушки. Многие жители Донецка не могли сдержать слез.

There is no such person who would not know about the horror that happened there. We, recalling those events, remember the cruelty that happened. I remember the eyes of our people, which were welled with tears, pain, and the question: how could this happen? Everyone took this tragedy as their own, each heart ached for those innocent victims. The words of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill can answer this question, “if a man forgets moral principles, he turns into an animal”. I think that with these words you can find the answer to what happened in Odessa: people lost their humanity. These days you want to pray for those who innocently were hurt there, so that Got would give them eternal life in peace, joy, so that they would suffer no longer. All their names are written in our churches, and we pray for them,” said Bishop Varsonofy of Novoazovsk. He encouraged all those present to pray today for each of those killed in Odessa on May 2nd, 2014, and read out their names.

Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin emphasized that five years had already passed since that terrible day when the Nazi followers burned the peaceful citizens alive. “The people, who never left the House of Trade Unions, forever remained loyal to their faith and convictions. To us, the events of May 2nd showed that our ways with the “post-Maidan” Ukraine parted. We are different! We have different thoughts, different values and ideals. We have no right to forget all the monstrous crimes of the Kiev regime. We remain unswayed with our convictions! All the perpetrators must be punished! To this end, we will do everything we can! The memory of the victims will remain forever in our hearts,” Denis Pushilin stated.

Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka said that the events in the Odessa House of Trade Unions were a terrible tragedy in the common Russian history. “Alas, May 2nd is a day of sorrow, pain, feeling of loss. This day dotted the i’s. Many people were convinced that we do not come the way of the fascist Ukraine. We do not want to be together with those inhumans, monsters who brutally kill a woman, child or teenager. Unfortunately, the criminals have not yet been found. No one is searching for them! Because the current government in Ukraine does not need this. But the truth will surely triumph, the whole world will learn it,” he emphasized.

According to head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement Aleksey Muratov, Odessa became the scene of the bloody events on May 2nd, 2014. “I am ashamed to be a Ukrainian after such events, when a lot of people saw all this but stayed quiet. And we understand that this was not just a massacre that turned into a mass murder, it was the tool to disunite the once united Russian people. And we know who is behind this! We know them from the slaughter in Yugoslavia, we know over which ocean the “cooks” of this bloody “kitchen” live. And it is important to the Ukrainians to wake,” he said.

Then, eyewitnesses of those events — the residents of Odessa, who now fight for the freedom of the DPR and Odessa — made speech.

After this, the participants in the event observed a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of each of those who perished in the House of Trade Unions in Odessa on May 2nd, 2014. Then the people laid flowers at the place where the list of the dead was and the icon lamps were lit. Along with the flowers, the Donetsk residents also brought stuffed toys. Many of those residents of Donetsk could not hold their tears back.
