В режиме видеоконференции 15 мая прошло заседание гуманитарной подгруппы. Итогом состоявшейся встречи стало согласие всех сторон вернуться к обсуждению концепции поиска лиц, пропавших без вести, предложенной Международным комитетом Красного Креста.
По сообщению пресс-службы Уполномоченного по правам человека в ДНР, на следующем заседании планируется более детальное и подробное рассмотрение данного вопроса, что позволит перейти к совместной конструктивной работе и приступить к решению комплекса проблем, с которыми столкнулись родственники пропавших без вести по обе стороны от линии соприкосновения.
«В ходе обсуждения вопроса соблюдения прав удерживаемых лиц, к сожалению, положительной динамики добиться не удалось. Вопреки достигнутым ранее договоренностям координатора рабочей группы по гуманитарным вопросам посла ОБСЕ Тони Фриша вновь не допустили к Юлии Просоловой и ряду других лиц, заявленных Донецкой Народной Республикой и удерживаемых в пенитенциарных учреждениях на территории Украины.
Представители украинской стороны продолжают вносить деструктив в работу гуманитарной подгруппы, позволяя себе вольно трактовать Минский меморандум. Хочу заверить, что подобная стратегия не принесет успеха, поскольку Донецкая Народная Республика и в дальнейшем будет неукоснительно следовать каждой букве Комплекса мер по выполнению Минских соглашений. И чем раньше украинская сторона это осознает, тем скорее работа подгруппы принесет конкретные результаты в решении гуманитарных вопросов», — прокомментировала заседание омбудсмен Дарья Морозова.
The humanitarian subgroup held a meeting via videoconference on May 15th. The outcome of the meeting was the fact that all the parties agreed to proceed with discussing the concept of searching for missing persons proposed by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
According to the press service of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the DPR, at the next meeting a more detailed consideration of this issue is planned, which will allow proceeding with joint constructive work and begin to solve a set of problems faced by relatives of the missing on both sides of the line of contact.
“During the discussion of the issue of observance of the rights of the detained persons, unfortunately, positive dynamics has not been achieved. Contrary to the earlier agreements, the coordinator of the working group on humanitarian issues, OSCE ambassador Tony Frisch, was again denied access to Yulia Prosolova and a number of other people declared by the Donetsk People’s Republic that detained in penitentiary institutions in the territory of Ukraine.
Representatives of the Ukrainian side continue to degrade the work of the humanitarian subgroup, allowing themselves to interpret the Minsk memorandum freely. I want to assure that such a strategy will not bring success, since the Donetsk People’s Republic will continue to strictly follow each letter of the Complex of Measures on the implementation of the Minsk agreements. And the sooner the Ukrainian side realizes this, the sooner the work of the subgroup will bring concrete results in resolving humanitarian issues,” ombudsperson Darya Morozova commented on the meeting.
