За прошедшие сутки противник двадцать раз нарушил режим прекращения огня. Об этом сообщил 16 мая на брифинге в Донецке начальник пресс-службы УНМ ДНР, майор Даниил Безсонов.
«На Горловском направлении украинские боевики 30-й механизированной бригады вели огонь с применением 82-мм минометов по поселку шахты Гагарина.
На Донецком направлении с позиций 93-й бригады подверглись обстрелу с применением 120- и 82-мм минометов, вооружения БМП, зенитных установок, гранатометов и крупнокалиберных пулеметов Крутая Балка, Ясиноватая, Васильевка и Минеральное. Силами 24-й бригады велся огонь из 120-мм минометов, гранатометов, крупнокалиберных пулеметов и стрелкового оружия по Сигнальному, Александровке и поселку шахты «Трудовская». Боевики 35-й бригады обстреляли из 120-мм минометов Докучаевск.
В результате обстрела Александровки повреждены жилые дома: ул. Челюскинцев, 1; ул. Шевченко, 2; ул. Ленина, 57. В Сигнальном из-за попадания мины поврежден жилой дом № 16 по улице Гагарина.
Кроме того, боевики 93-й бригады в течение дня трижды обстреливали территорию Васильевской насосной станции первого подъема. К счастью жертв среди гражданского населения удалось избежать.
