Заявление Владимира Зеленского о неготовности вести прямые переговоры с Республиками, продолжая при этом работу в Минске, со всей ясностью демонстрирует, что президент Украины не понимает сути Минских соглашений. Об этом заявила сегодня, 18 июня, министр иностранных дел ДНР Наталья Никонорова.
«Комплекс мер, поддержанный резолюцией Совета Безопасности ООН, подразумевает именно прямые переговоры между сторонами конфликта – Республиками и Украиной. Именно от этого ключевого условия киевское руководство всеми силами старается уклониться, что обуславливает неутешительные результаты переговоров на Минской площадке.
Касательно слов президента Украины о якобы согласии соблюдать режим прекращения огня — они выглядят особенно лицемерно на фоне все возрастающей интенсивности обстрелов со стороны украинских силовиков.
За последние несколько суток территория Республики была обстреляна с применением минометов, противотанковых гранатометов, крупнокалиберных пулеметов и прочего стрелкового оружия, в результате чего пострадали жилые дома мирных граждан, объекты инфраструктуры. Это красноречивое подтверждение того, что новые украинские власти «стремятся к миру» только в виде голословных заявлений в медиа-пространстве, а на деле же продолжают тот военный сценарий, который был начат Порошенко.
Мы призываем новое руководство Украины осознать, что возобновить мир в Донбассе – это важнейшая задача, которая сейчас стоит перед украинской властью. Для этого Киеву нужно отказаться от политики провокаций на линии соприкосновения, тщательно ознакомиться с текстом Комплекса мер и приступить наконец-то к реализации своих обязательств по Минским договоренностям, которые в любом случае придется выполнять», — отметила Наталья Никонорова.
Vladimir Zelensky’s statement about the unwillingness to hold direct conversation with the Republics and continue the work in Minsk at the same time clearly demonstrates that the president of Ukraine does not understand the point of the Minsk agreements. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR Natalia Nikonorova stated this today, on June 18th.
“The Complex of Measures, which is supported by the UN Security Council resolution, implies direct negotiations between the parties to the conflict: the Republics and Ukraine. It is this key condition that the Kiev leadership is trying in every way to avoid, which leads to disappointing results from the negotiations at the Minsk venue.
Regarding the words of the president of Ukraine about allegedly agreeing to observe the ceasefire, they look especially hypocritical against the background of the ever-increasing intensity of attacks by the Ukrainian militants.
Over the past few days, the territory of the Republic has been engaged by mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and other firearms, as a result of which peaceful citizens’ houses and infrastructure were damaged. This is an eloquent confirmation that the new Ukrainian authorities “strive for peace” only in the form of unfounded statements on the media space, while in reality they carry on the power projected scenario that Poroshenko started.
We call on the new leadership of Ukraine to realize that the reestablishment of peace in Donbass is the most important task that the Ukrainian government is now facing. To this end, Kiev needs to abandon the policy of provocations near the line of contact, carefully read the text of the Complex of Measures and finally begin to implement their obligations under the Minsk agreements, which they will have to fulfil in any case,” Natalia Nikonorova noted.
