Сегодня, 9 Мая, в Донецке прошел военный парад в честь 74-й годовщины Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 годов. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта Донецкой Народной Республики, десятки тысяч жителей и гостей столицы пришли на главную площадь, чтобы увидеть военный парад.

С приветственными словами к собравшимся обратился Глава ДНР Денис Пушилин:

«Уважаемые граждане Донецкой Народной Республики! Дорогие ветераны! Товарищи военнослужащие – солдаты и офицеры! Поздравляю вас с Днем Великой Победы!

74 года назад завершилась Великая Отечественная война. Прошли десятилетия, но этот священный день был, есть и будет нашим главным праздником. Это день гордости и вечной памяти о Великой Победе.

Советский солдат стал символом торжества справедливости, добра и самоотверженности. Доблестные воины и стойкие труженики тыла всегда будут для нас примером героизма, силы духа и любви к своей Родине.

Мы должны быть достойны их подвига и беречь эту священную правду, не допуская забвения героев – всех, кто не жалея своих жизней сохранил мир на планете.

В этот день мы склоняем головы перед павшими», — сказал Денис Пушилин.

Присутствующие почтили минутой молчания память погибших защитников Родины.

«Русский народ славен тем, что стоек. Наша сила – в почитании подвига отцов, дедов и прадедов. Наша сила – в ветеранах, перед которыми мы склоняем головы, и участниках «Бессмертного полка», которые в своих руках несут портреты тех, кто победил фашизм.

С каждым годом растет народное воодушевление, гордость и осознание современниками, что именно мы – наследники Великой Победы, и именно нам завещано сберечь память о воинской славе прошлых лет.

Мы никогда не забудем о подвиге советского народа – на фронтах и в тылу, не забудем, сколько сил было положено на восстановление страны после военной разрухи. И обещаем, что пронесем силу правды сквозь года и передадим будущим поколениям!

Уроки той страшной войны неподвластны времени, потому что память о ней будет вечно передаваться из поколения в поколение.

С Днем Победы! Ура!» — обратился к присутствующим Глава Республики.

Today, on May 9th, a military parade took place in Donetsk in honor of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. A correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic reports that tens of thousands of residents and guests of the capital came to the main square to see the military parade.

Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin addressed those present with welcoming words:

“Dear citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic! Dear veterans! Fellow military — soldiers and officers! I congratulate you on the Great Victory Day!

The Great Patriotic War ended74 years ago. Decades have passed, but this sacred day has been and will be our main holiday. This is the day of pride and eternal memory of the Great Victory.

The Soviet soldier became a symbol of the triumph of justice, goodness and dedication. Valiant warriors and steadfast workers in the rear will always be an example of heroism, fortitude and love for our Motherland.

We must be worthy of their heroic deed and take care of this sacred truth, not allowing the heroes to be forgotten – all those who not sparing their lives saved peace on the planet.

On this day we bow our heads before the fallen,” Denis Pushilin said.

Those present honored the memory of the fallen defenders of the Motherland with a minute of silence.

“The Russian people are famous for being steadfast. Our strength is in honoring the feat of fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Our strength lies in the veterans, to whom we bow our heads, and the participants of the Immortal Regiment, who in their hands carry the portraits of those who defeated fascism.

Every year the people’s enthusiasm, pride and awareness of contemporaries grows that it is we who are the heirs of the Great Victory, and it is we who are bequeathed to preserve the memory of the military glory of past years.

We will never forget the feat of the Soviet people – in the frontlines and in the rear, we will not forget how much force was put on restoring the country after the war devastation. And we promise that we will carry the power of truth through the years and pass it on to future generations!

The lessons of that terrible war are timeless, because the memory of it will forever be passed on from generation to generation.
