В воскресенье, 19 мая, на ринге культурно-спортивного комплекса «Экспресс» в Ростове-на-Дону при поддержке Главы ДНР Дениса Пушилина прошел турнир ProFC 65 по смешанным единоборствам (ММА). Донецкую Народную Республику на турнире представляли чемпион ProFC 2017 года в полусреднем весе Максим Швец, бойцы СК Fight Masters Роман Огульчанский, Армен Джрагацпанян, Александр Деркач, Владимир Баев, а также боец СК «Велес» Эдуард Мальков.

Спортивное мероприятие посетили помощник Президента Российской Федерации Владислав Сурков, Глава Донецкой Народной Республики Денис Пушилин и другие официальные лица ДНР.

Главный бой вечера в полусреднем весе, который провели чемпион ProFC Максим Швец (ДНР) и Леандро Силва (Бразилия), предваряли 10 поединков. Армен Джрагацпанян (Донецк, ДНР) техническим нокаутом одержал победу в поединке в легчайшем весе с Шахпуром Салаевым (Калининград, РФ). Поединок в легком весе между Эдуардом Мальковым (Донецк, ДНР) и Артуром Малхасяном (Армения) завершился победой Малькова. Роман Огульчанский (Донецк, ДНР) встретился на ринге с Александром Дурымановым (Новороссийск, РФ), этот поединок закончился ничьей.

Центральным событием турнира стал бой из трех раундов в полусреднем весе, который провели чемпион ProFC Максим Швец и Леандро Силва. Уверенную победу в этой схватке одержал Максим Швец.

Награду победителю вручил Денис Пушилин. «Максим! Ты = боец, как и Донбасс является бойцом», – сказал Глава Республики. Он поздравил чемпиона и клуб Fight Masters с заслуженной победой, а также поблагодарил организаторов турнира за зрелищное мероприятие.

«Это замечательный праздник спорта! Спорт в очередной раз доказывает, что ни перед чем не останавливается: будь то границы, будь то непонимание или непризнанность. Мы двигаемся вперед и будем набирать обороты. Спортивных мероприятий будет больше. У нас есть талантливые спортсмены, талантливые бойцы – это сегодня могли все видеть. Не всегда одерживаем победу, но каждое поражение ведет к тому, что бойцы становятся сильнее.

Максим Швец – молодец! Это ожидаемая, но очень нелегкая победа, потому что его противник-бразилец действительно профессионал в своем деле. Он участвовал во многих боях на профессиональном ринге. Максиму было трудно, но он победил. Сложный был бой, но для Донбасса очень нужный!» – подчеркнул в общении с представителями СМИ Денис Пушилин.

Отметим, в перерывах между рейтинговыми боями выступала специальная гостья турнира – популярная рок-исполнительница Юлия Чичерина.

The Donetsk People’s Republic was represented at the tournament by ProFC 2017 champion in welterweight Maxim Shvets, fighters of the Fight Masters sports club Roman Ogulchansky, Armen Dzhragatspanyan, Alexander Derkach, Vladimir Bayev, and fighter of the Veles sports club Eduard Malkov.

The event was attended by Vladislav Surkov, an aide to the President of the Russian Federation; Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin and other officials of the DPR.

The main welterweight fight tonight, which was performed by ProFC champion Maxim Shvets (DPR) and Leandro Silva (Brazil), was preceded by 10 matches. Armen Dzhragatspanyan (Donetsk, DPR) won a lightweight fight against Shakhpur Salayev (Kaliningrad, Russian Federation) by technical knockout. A lightweight fight between Eduard Malkov (Donetsk, DPR) and Artur Malkhasyan (Armenia) was won by Malkov. Roman Ogulchansky (Donetsk, DPR) fought in the ring with Alexander Durymanov (Novorossiysk, Russia), this fight ended in a draw.

The central event of the tournament was a three-round welterweight fight, which was performed by ProFC champion Maxim Shvets and Leandro Silva. Maksim Shvets confidently won this fight.

Denis Pushilin handed the prize over to the winner. “Maksim! You are a fighter, just as Donbass is,” said the Head of the Republic. He congratulated the champion and the Fight Masters club on the well-deserved victory, and also thanked the organizers of the tournament for the spectacular event.

“This is a wonderful celebration of sports! Sport proves once again that it stops at nothing: either borders, misunderstanding or non-recognition. We are moving forward and will be gaining momentum. There will be more sports events. We have got talented athletes, talented fighters – today everyone could see this. There is not always a victory, but every defeat leads to the fact that the fighters become stronger.

Maxim Shvets did well! This is an expected, but very difficult victory, because his Brazilian opponent is really a professional in his field. He participated in many fights in the professional ring. It was hard for Maxim, but he won. It was a tough battle, but very necessary to Donbass!” Denis Pushilin emphasized when talking with media representatives.

Note that popular rock singer Yulia Chicherina, a special guest of the tournament, sang in between the rating fights.
