The Kiev government has reached the point of extreme lying. The website of the Ukrainian president has published a deliberately distorted text of the communique from the Normandy Four’s summit.
The parties agreed to discuss all legal aspects of the special status. This is what the final document says. Ukrainians published the words “all legal aspects of the law on the special status”. Thus, they narrow down the concept of the special status to one law when this must be a whole set of laws and agreements, including amendments to the constitution. It is on such terms that Steinmeier’s Formula was signed.
We express our indignation at this act of public lying on the part of Kiev. We declare that neither a prisoner exchange, nor another truce, nor other decisions of the Normandy Four can be implemented until Ukraine officially publishes the correct text of the Normandy Four’s communique without distortion and unapproved insertions.
