On Thursday, December 26, in the villages under the Spartak Village Council of Yasinovataya received New Year presents as part of the operation of the Provisional Commission of the DPR People’s Council to monitor and coordinate activities in the areas particularly affected by the armed aggression of Ukraine. According to the correspondent of the DPR official website, gifts were presented by deputies of the DPR People’s Council, Chairman of the Commission Yuri Pokinelitsa and its member Maria Pirogova.
In total, presents were given to 60 children from eight localities subordinated to the council. In addition, volunteers of the Svyatogor Charity Fund prepared a “New Year’s Kaleidoscope” entertainment with the participation of Father Frost and Snow Maiden for students of the Yakovlevskaya school of Yasinovataya and pupils of the pre-school institution, Thumbelina kindergarten No. 13.
“I congratulate everyone on the holiday, wish you success in learning, happiness, and let all your wishes come true in the New year,” Marina Aseyeva, Head of the Spartak Village Council, said.
In turn, the Director of the Yakovlevskaya school, Yana Akishina, noted that 30 students have received gifts.
“It is very important for us to feel support in this hard time, to know that our children are remembered and taken care of. Children living in the frontline areas, in fact, have grown up in the wartime, and the smallest ones, unfortunately, almost do not remember peacetime. Children are our future and the future of the Donetsk People’s Republic depends on what they grow up to,” Yana Akishina said.
According to DPR People’s Council deputy Maria Pirogova, in the framework of the event there were also given 30 targeted presents, in particular, to two families with disabled children, four families with many children, along with children from families in difficult situations.
“It is very important that the children of the Republic are surrounded with care and attention, and especially children living in the frontline areas. The greatest desire of the residents of the Republic is peace, and I wish everyone that it come true,” the speaker emphasized.
