At the mourning rally in memory of the Gorlovka citizen, Nikita Fokin, the townspeople were grieving together with the family and friends of the deceased.
“Nikita is almost the same age as me, but today he is lying in the grave, and keep on living owing to his courage and fortitude. He found the strength to defend his native land, and even today, when we are seeing Nikita on his last journey, the sounds of the “truce” can heard.
We did not start this war, Zelensky had a chance to become the one to go down in history — to restore peace in Donbass. But he continues to cynically kill our people. It’s Zelensky who is to blame for Nikita’s death and he will be punished! I am sure of it!” Anastasia Stepanets, a Gorlovka resident, said.
