From April 27 to May 4, civil defense forces jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health and other agencies were conducting comprehensive exercises in the Donetsk People’s Republic to hone their skills in case of various sanitary and epidemiological situations.
During the drills, the units worked out a plan of action to combat the coronavirus infection to safe the citizens’ lives and health during an epidemic. The training exercises demonstrated the high level of preparation of the staff of the intitutions and the readiness of all the agencies to counteract the infection.
Thanks to the established cooperation between the state authorities and the active participation of the operational headquarters for combating the coronavirus infection in the training, all the tasks set have been successfully completed on time.
Acting within the framework of the Unified State System for Emergencies Management, all the participants showed a professional level of training and coherence of actions, which allows the DPR authorities to control and counteract the situation with regard to the coronavirus proliferation in the Republic.
