Today, on May 7, on the threshold of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka congratulated GPW veterans from Donetsk Andrey Gutsol and Vladimir Sheludko on this coming holiday. According to a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, the speaker of the parliament emphasized the importance of such communication with frontline soldiers and homefront workers, who are fewer and fewer with each passing year.
“This is a holiday of all of us. But for the veterans this holiday is of double or even triple significance. Because it is these people who made this Victory come true, who gave their lives and health for this Victory. Each of them has their own, amazing history of courage, self-sacrifice to the Homeland. It is our duty to meet up with every veteran, accept from them a part of the history they bear,” Vladimir Bidyovka emphasized.
