On Friday of July 17, Private S.V. Skidan, a soldier of the Ukrainian army, gunner from a mortar platoon of the 53rd brigade’s 24th separate assault battalion Aydar sided with the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The DPR Ministry of Health informs that on July 20, the soldier was tested for COVID-19. Also, he is undergoing a full medical examination.
The DPR People’s Militia and law enforcement agencies of the Republic jointly ensured a safe passage for the Ukrainian army’s soldier. At the moment, the soldier is safe, his life and health are in no danger.
