На долю детей Донбасса выпало тяжелое испытание – война. К сожалению, наши дети знают, что такое обстрелы, взрывы и укрытия. Но, несмотря на трудности, Республика возрождается, восстанавливаются школы и оздоровительные лагеря, открываются спортивные секции и кружки. Наши дети учатся, отдыхают, растут и развиваются.
Ребята, я от всей души поздравляю вас с началом лета и каникул. Пусть эти дни проходят для вас беззаботно и весело, радуйтесь каждому дню своего детства, пусть оно будет ярким и незабываемым! А мы, взрослые, в свою очередь, обещаем защищать вас от всех проблем и невзгод!
Я хочу, чтобы вы знали – все, что мы делаем, мы делаем для вас и ради вас. Вы – наше будущее, вам мы оставим эту землю, вам на ней жить и работать.

Dear friends! International Children’s Day is a special holiday to the entire Donetsk People’s Republic.
A hard lot has fallen tochildren of Donbass — the war. Unfortunately, our children know what shelling, explosions and shelters are. However, despite the difficulties, the Republic is being reborn, schools and recreation camps are being reconstructed, sports clubs and classes are opening up. Children, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the beginning of summer and holidays. Let these days pass for you carefree and fun, enjoy every day of your childhood, and let it be bright and unforgettable! And we, adults, in turn, promise to protect you from all problems and hardships!
I want you to know that everything we do is done for you and for your sake. You are our future, we will leave this land to you, you will live and work in it.
