Полномочный представитель Республики в Трехсторонней контактной группы в Минске, и.о. министра иностранных дел ДНР Наталья Никонорова прокомментировала заявление заместителя главы СММ ОБСЕ в Украине Александр Хуга о его уходе из миссии. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба МИД ДНР.
«Основная цель – обеспечение выполнения Минских соглашений, ответственность за невыполнение которых лежит на Киеве, а не на ОБСЕ. СММ выполняет важную роль, которая состоит, прежде всего, в объективном наблюдении и фиксации соблюдения режима прекращения огня. Функции миссии четко прописаны в ее мандате, которому, мы убеждены, будет следовать и новый заместитель главы СММ ОБСЕ», — отметила Никонорова.

“The main goal is to ensure the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the responsibility for non-compliance rests with Kiev, and not with the OSCE. The SMM has an important role, which consists primarily of objective observation and recording of compliance with the ceasefire. The Mission’s functions are clearly spelled out in its mandate, which we are sure will be followed by a new deputy head of the OSCE SMM,” Nikonorova noted.
