Председатель Народного Совета ДНР Денис Пушилин прокомментировал результаты состоявшейся сегодня, 29 января, в режиме видеоконференции встречи подгруппы по вопросам безопасности.

«В рамках состоявшейся сегодня видеоконференции рабочей группы по вопросам безопасности стороны конфликта подтвердили приверженность реализации режима прекращения огня. При этом представители Донецкой Народной Республики настояли на необходимости выполнения Украиной достигнутых ранее договоренностей. В частности речь шла об опубликовании приказов о соблюдении режима прекращения огня и применении мер дисциплинарного воздействия к нарушителям, а также проведении тщательного разбирательства по инцидентам в Докучаевске и Оленовке.

К сожалению, на данный момент конструктивной позиции украинской стороны по этим вопросам мы не услышали.

Особое внимание участников встречи было обращено на вопрос восстановления связи Vodafone. Несмотря на то, что место обрыва связи находится на территории, подконтрольной украинскому правительству, а наиболее пострадавшим от отсутствия связи стало мирное население Донбасса – пожилые люди, малообеспеченные граждане, инвалиды, – Украина продолжает обвинять Республику в создании проблем с проведением ремонтных работ. Учитывая важность вопроса, было принято решение продолжить обсуждение на встрече Контактной группы в будущую среду. Посредником в урегулировании вопроса выступит СММ ОБСЕ», — отметил Денис Пушилин.

Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin commented on the results the subgroup on security issues’ meeting, which was held today, on January 29th, via videoconference.

“Within a framework of today’s videoconference of the working group on security issues, the parties to the conflict affirmed their commitment to implementing the ceasefire. Upon that, representatives of the Donetsk People’s Republic insisted that Ukraine has to implement the agreements reached previously. In particular, the matter concerned the publication of orders on compliance with the ceasefire and the application of disciplinary measures to the violators, as well as the conduct of a thorough investigation regarding the incidents in Dokuchayevsk and Olenovka.

Unfortunately, at this stage we have not heard a constructive position on these issues from the Ukrainian side.

The participants in the meeting paid particular attention to the issue of recovery of Vodafone communication. Despite the fact that the disconnection site is located in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government, and the civilian population of Donbass, namely elderly people, low-income citizens, and physically challenged persons are the most suffer from the lack of communication, Ukraine keeps accusing the Republic of creating problems with repair works. Given the importance of this issue, it was decided to continue the discussion at the Contact Group’s meeting this coming Wednesday. The OSCE SMM will act as a mediator to the settlement of the issue,” Denis Pushilin noted.
