Сегодня, 19 февраля, в Дебальцево прошел митинг памяти «Нам этих дней не позабыть», посвященный третьей годовщине освобождения города от ВСУ, сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР. В митинге, который прошел возле памятного знака «Камень погибшим братьям и сестрам от рук украинских карателей 2014-2015 года», приняли участие руководитель депутатской фракции «Донецкая Республика» Александр Костенко, депутат Народного Совета ДНР Михаил Жуков, руководство города, сотни жителей и гостей Дебальцево.

Три года назад защитники Республики в ожесточенных и кровопролитных боях с украинскими силовиками освободили Дебальцево. Собравшиеся вспомнили о событиях трехлетней давности.

«Дебальцевский котел останется в нашей памяти надолго. Украинская власть принесла на нашу землю войну, и нам ничего не оставалось, как встать на защиту нашей Родины.

Дебальцево стал для нас донбасским Сталинградом.

Я также принимал участие в боях за Дебальцево. В этих боях погибли наши братья, друзья, товарищи, с которыми мы с 2014 года были вместе плечо к плечу. Было очень тяжело, но мы знали, за что и за кого мы воюем. Мы видели зверства украинских фашистов по отношению к мирным жителям.
От имени Главы Республики и от всех нас хочу выразить соболезнования семьям всех погибших. Хочу, чтобы все помнили: мы вместе и никогда не забудем, не простим», — сказал Александр Костенко.

Депутат НС Михаил Жуков в своем выступлении отметил, что три года назад военнослужащие Республики выстояли и смогли доказать всему миру многое.

«Мы показали всему миру свой характер, что мы готовы дать отпор всем украинским оккупантам, которые хотят нам навязать свой порядок. Три года назад мы показали, что мы — Донбасс и с нами стоит считаться», — сказал Михаил Жуков.

Во время боев за Дебальцево артиллерийскими снарядами ВСУ было повреждено около 80 % зданий и жилых домов.

Сегодня жители города вспоминали, как три года назад, со слезами на глазах они встречали освободителей Республики.

Все собравшиеся почтили минутой молчания память погибших мирных жителей и защитников Республики, а также возложили цветы к подножию памятного знака «Камень погибшим братьям и сестрам от рук украинских карателей 2014-2015 года».

Отметим, что митинг прошел в рамках проекта ОД «Донецкая Республика» «Герои», который направлен на сохранение памяти павших героев Донецкой Народной Республики.

“The Debaltsevo salient will remain in our memory for a long time. The Ukrainian government unleashed the war in our land and we had no choice but to defend our Motherland.

Debaltsevo has become the Donbass Stalingrad for us.

I also took part in the battles for Debaltsevo. In these battles our brothers, friends, comrades, with whom since 2014 we had been together shoulder to shoulder, were killed. It was very hard, but we knew for what and for whom we were warring. We saw atrocities of the Ukrainian fascists against civilians.

On behalf of the Head of the Republic and from all of us, I express my condolences to all the families of the victims. I want everyone to remember: we are together and will never forget, we will never forgive,” Alexander Kostenko said.

Deputy of the DPR People’s Council Mikhail Zhukov in his speech noted that three years ago the servicemen of the Republic had stood up and proved to the whole world a lot.

“We showed the whole world our character that we are ready to repel all Ukrainian invaders who want to impose their order on us. Three years ago we showed that we are Donbass and we should be reckoned with,” Mikhail Zhukov said.

During the fighting for Debaltsevo, artillery shells of the AFU damaged about 80% of buildings and houses.

Today, residents of the town remembered how three years ago, with tears in their eyes, they met the liberators of the Republic.

All those present observed a minute of silence to commemorate the lost civilians and defenders of the Republic, and laid flowers at the foot of the memorial sign The Stone to the Brothers and Sisters Perished at the Hands of Ukrainian Punishers in2014-2015.

Note that the rally was held within the framework of the Heroes project by the Donetsk Republic PM, which is aimed at preserving the memory of the fallen heroes of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
