Республиканские власти корректно относятся к украинским военнопленным (удерживаемым лицам), которые находятся на территории ДНР. Об этом заявил после визита в Донецкий следственный изолятор ГСИН Министерства юстиции ДНР координатор от ОБСЕ в гуманитарной подгруппе на Минских переговорах Тони Фриш. Об этом сегодня, 5 апреля, сообщает корреспондент официального сайта Донецкой Народной Республики.
«Все беседы, которые были проведены с удерживаемыми лицами, были исключительно конфиденциальными. Свой ответ позже я предоставлю госпоже Морозовой и директору пенитенциарного учреждения. Мы пообщались с несколькими удерживаемыми лицами, услышали их мнение. С одним из них я уже встречаюсь в третий раз, остальных вижу впервые.
Я считаю, что очень важно относиться к удерживаемым лицам корректно. И именно на этом я настаиваю с 2015 года. В прошлом году я предложил сторонам конфликта подписать декларацию о неприменении пыток по отношению к удерживаемым лицам, договориться о хорошем отношении к ним, об оказании в полном объеме медицинской помощи. И мы продолжаем продвигать эту важную идею.
Я не говорю, что здесь плохо относятся к удерживаемым лицам. Я говорю об общей декларации. Я хочу поблагодарить власти ДНР и руководство пенитенциарного учреждения за хорошее отношение к удерживаемым лицам. Но подчеркиваю, что мое заявление носит частный характер, это мое личное мнение. И я еще раз благодарю Дарью Морозову за то, что она прилагает максимум усилий для помощи удерживаемым лицам. Я надеюсь, что обмен пленными состоится в самое ближайшее время», — сказал Тони Фриш.
The republic authorities correctly treat Ukrainian prisoners of war (detained persons) who are in the territory of the DPR. OSCE coordinator in the humanitarian subgroup at the Minsk talks Tony Frisch claimed this after a visit to the Donetsk remand prison of the State Service for Execution of Punishment of the Ministry of Justice of the DPR. “All conversations that we have had with detained persons were exclusively confidential. I will give my answer later to Ms. Morozova and the director of the penitentiary institution. We talked with several detained persons, listened to their opinion. I have already met one of them three times, the rest I met for the first time.
I think it is very important to treat detained persons correctly. And this is exactly what I have been insisting on since 2015. Last year, I suggested the parties to the conflict signing a declaration on the non-use of torture in relation to the persons detained, agree on a good attitude towards them, on the provision of full medical care. And we continue to promote this important idea.
I am not saying that the detained persons are treated here bad. I’m talking about a general declaration. I want to thank the authorities of the DPR and the management of the penitentiary institution for the good attitude towards the detained persons. But, I emphasize that my statement is private, this is my personal opinion. And I once again thank Darya Morozova for the fact that she makes every effort to help the detained persons. I hope that the exchange of war prisoners will take place in the nearest future,” Tony Frisch said.
