The enemy violated the ceasefire six times over the past 24 hours, the press service of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic reported today, on October 31st.
“Over the past 24 hours, militants of the 14th AFU brigade, by order of war criminal Voychenko, engaged the areas of Frunze, Prishib and Zhelobok by using 120mm and 82mm mortars, which are prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, grenade launchers of various types and small arms. A soldier of the People’s Militia was killed in the attack on Zhelobok. In total, the enemy fired more than 40 items of different types of ammunition on the territory of the Republic.
Ukrainian occupiers, besides their attacks on the Republic, deploy military equipment near civil infrastructure facilities, thus exposing the civilian population to deadly danger. Our intelligence revealed the location of two armored combat vehicles in the housing estate of Zolotoye-4. The number of enemy tanks has increased to 10 on the outskirts of Rubezhnoye.
At the same time, Ukrainian militants continue to actively use unmanned aerial vehicles at the line of contact, thus continuing to violate the Minsk Agreements. Yesterday, an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Krylo model, belonging to the 46th AFU brigade, was spotted and shot down near Teplichnoye. Our specialists are examining the data taken from the UAV.
Despite the statements from the official Ukrainian government about the disarmament of the so-called “volunteer” formations stationed directly at the disengagement area 2 Zolotoye, the nationalists continue to stay there fully equipped and occupy residential buildings. At the same time, the Kiev power still refuses to properly address the issue with people who overtly violate the law and endanger the process of the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
Against the backdrop of the so-called “Yellow Regime” declared in the joint forces operation zone, which provides for stricter control over citizens and gives the Ukrainian militants virtually unlimited powers, the nationalists remain off-limits to the National Police and special services of Ukraine. This state of affairs gives grounds to believe that the joint forces operation’s command and the leaders of the radical groups have made a deal about their presence in the occupation forces operation’s zone, and the resumption of the peacebuilding process on the part of Ukraine is nothing else but yet another profanation aimed at misleading the international community and the leaders of the Normandy Four countries,” the LPR PM’s press-service stated.
