Today, on November 2, in accordance with the agreements reached, representatives of the Republic lodged to the OSCE SMM a notification containing the necessary background information.
During the information transfer, Mission’s representatives verbally informed that the Ukrainian party could unilaterally try to postpone the disengagement starting date, despite the fact that the President of Ukraine had declared the date of November 4.
This particular date has been agreed by all the participants to the Contact Group in Minsk as the beginning of the practical part of the renewal of the parties’ commitments to implement the Framework Decision on the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka disengagement site.
The Donetsk People’s Republic has always been and remains committed to implementing the agreements reached within the peaceful settlement of the armed conflict in Donbass. Therefore, as reliable partners, we intend to complete all the steps provided for by the approved schedule, starting from November 2, 2019.
On Monday, November 4, at 1:00 p.m. Moscow time, as agreed, representatives of the DPR People’s Militia, in the presence of representatives of the OSCE SMM, whose responsibility is to objectively register fulfillment or non-fulfillment by the parties of jointly agreed decisions, will launch a white flare.
Proceeding from the actions or omissions of the Ukrainian party, the authority of the President of Ukraine as the supreme commander-in-chief, to whom the armed forces of his country should submit, will become apparent on November 4.
