The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic reports violations of Donbass citizens’ rights by the Ukrainian party – the right to life and the right to security of person, the agency’s press office says.
On October 25, as a result of artillery shelling of Mineralnoye in the Yasinovataya area, a male civilian (born in 1969) suffered an explosive injury and numerous shrapnel wounds in the courtyard of his house.
On October 27, 28 and 30, as a result of hostilities in the area of Novoazovsk, defenders of the Republic (born in 1980, 1974, 1970, 1987, and 1989) suffered wounds of varying severity.
On October 31, as a result of the targeted shelling of an ambulance vehicle which was on its way to the village of Belaya Kamenka to help a sick child, a driver and a medical instructor were mortally wounded.
From October 25 to October 31, as a result of armed aggression on the part of Ukraine, in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic there were wounded 6 persons, including 5 military personnel of the Republic and 1 male civilian.
Along with that, from October 25 to October 31, in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic there were killed 8 military personnel of the Republic.
From January 1 to October 31, 2019, as a result of armed aggression on the part of Ukraine, in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic there were killed 152 persons, including 143 military personnel of the Republic, 6 female civilians and 3 male civilians.
As will be recalled, 4,881 persons, including 81 children, have been killed in the Donetsk People’s Republic since the outset of the armed conflict.
