Compatriots receive lump sums as part of the Humanitarian Program

As part of the implementation of the Humanitarian Program for the Reunification of the People of Donbass, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Donetsk People’s Republic pays nonrecurring financial assistance to compatriots from the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine. The Ministry’s press service reports.

The payments are made at the centers for social assistance and administrative services located at the checkpoints. The right to receive the assistance is granted to:

— combat veterans, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, World War II, its amount is 15 thousand RUB or 7.5 thousand UAH;

— families raising three or more children aged under 18, the amount of assistance is 12 thousand RUB or 6 thousand UAH;

— persons having special labor merits to the Homeland, the amount of assistance is 8 thousand RUB or 4 thousand UAH.

Since the beginning of the payment process, 47 veterans, 1,615 multi-child families and 2 people having special labor merits to the Homeland, who live in the territory of the Donetsk region, temporarily controlled by Ukraine, have received the assistance.
