Ukrainian militants engaged fire on the Republic’s localities 22 times over the past 24 hours, the official spokesperson for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Dmitry Astrakhan reported at a briefing on November 6.
- “On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 59th and 58th brigades engaged fire on Golmovsky, the villages of Gagarin mine and 6/7 mine in Gorlovka with 120mm and 82mm mortars, IFV weapons, anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. After the 6/7 mine’s village had come under fire, there was registered a partial blackout of a local street.
- On the Donetsk front, militants from the 92nd and 28th brigades engaged fire on the areas of Vasilievka, the airport and the Trudovskaya mine’s village in Donetsk with 82mm mortars, automatic and anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms,” Dmitry Astrakhan said.
- On the Mariupol front, forces of the 36th and 128th brigades engaged fire with 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, an ATGM complex, IFV weapons, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on the localities of Petrovskoye, Novosyolovka 2, Sakhanka, Leninskoye, and Kominternovo.
When striking from 120-mm mortars from the positions of VFU along Kominternovo, a residential building ignited on 18 Akhmatova Street.
Leninskoye having been shelled from the positions of the 36th brigade, a defender of the Republic was mortally wounded.
The total of 159 various munitions were fired by the AFU onto the territory of the Republic.
Information on civilian casualties and destructions is being specified.
