The DPR Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that there is no progress in the issue of Kiev’s repayment of wage arrears to employees of the Voda Donbassa public utilities company and the railway, which was raised at today’s meeting of the economic group in Minsk.
“Kiev continues to avoid real and effective steps on the issue of repayment of wage arrears to employees of the Voda Donbassa public utilities company and the railway, as well as pensions to citizens of the republics, although in 2015, in accordance with paragraph 8 of the Complex of Measures for the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, the Ukrainian authorities assumed the obligation to resume the payments, which are frozen by Ukraine, independently or through international mechanisms,” DPR plenipotentiary Natalya Nikonorova noted.
