At the twenty-first meeting, which took place on November 7, the commission of the United Donbass Fund public organization reviewed 606 appeals from citizens who found themselves in a difficult life situation. Head of the fund Oleg Balykin said this at today’s briefing in Donetsk on November 12.
“The commission approved 246 appeals, 360 appeals were denied due to the lack of documents confirming the gravity of the situation.
For twenty-one meetings held in 2019, the fund’s commission has approved 3,871 appeals, and 3,515 citizens received assistance.
Over the entire period of its work, the fund has considered 30,877 appeals, 11,159 of which have been approved. As of November 9, the assistance has been paid to 10,651 applicants,” Balykin informed.
He also noted that the United Donbass Fund provides assistance on a nonrecurring basis. Those applicants, whose appeal has been approved, get the money in offices of Pochta Donbassa SE or in centers for social assistance and administrative services located at the checkpoints.
