The enemy continues to intensify the escalation of tension in the disengagement area on the Bogdanovka-Petrovskoye site. Thus, yesterday, radicals from the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps carried out a terrorist attack on Commander of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade Korostelyov, who, together with three officers, was making an inspection of new positions following the withdrawal of forces and hardware near Bogdanovka.
Militants fired several AGS rounds at the brigade commander’s car, as a result of which 4 servicemen were injured, two of them, including the brigade commander, are in critical condition. We note that this is not the first terrorist attack performed by nationalists against servicemen of the 128th brigade. For instance, on November 10, militants blew up an Ural vehicle by two rounds fired with the RPG-18 Mukha, causing injuries to 4 servicemen of the 128th brigade.
Thus, the radicals are systematically heading for creating a hotbed of tension in this area and are taking revenge on the command and personnel of the brigade for their having withdrawn from the positions.
