The irreparable damage caused by Ukraine to the residents of Donbass by artillery shelling can hardly be quantified in financial terms, DPR People’s Council deputy Valery Skorokhodov stated.
“According to the data obtained from the report of the OSCE International Mission to Donbass, more than 13 thousand people have perished over the entire period of the conflict, and we continue to record damages caused by sustained attacks by the WFU almost daily.
These crimes have no limitation period, and sooner or later Ukraine will be held accountable for everything it has done in Donbass. The European Court of Human Rights is the very authority that can impartially and objectively consider cases of material or moral damage reimbursement. And the more such precedents emerge, the faster the international community will get a load of the situation which has made millions of civilians hostages through Kiev’s fault. Ukraine must pay for all it has ruined,” Valery Skorokhodov commented.
