The Ukrainian party does not abandon attempts to destabilize the situation around the Bogdanovka-Petrovskoye disengagement site, an emergency statement by the DPR People’s Militia Directorate official representative says.
“On November 19, at 12:35 the enemy engaged small arms within the disengagement Petrovskoye area.
These violations were also recorded by the DPR staff to the JCCC. Notably, the Ukrainian party deliberately opened fire during activities for mine clearance carried out by deminers of the DPR Ministry of Emergencies. Mine clearance was suspended on this site. Employees of the Emergencies Ministry and JCCC were forced to retreat to a safe distance.
Information on the destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.
This provocation is aimed at disrupting demining activities shortly before the verification of the results of clearing the territory from explosive objects by the OSCE as part of the completion of measures to disengage the warring parties in the given area.
We urge the international observers of the OSCE SMM to intervene and exercise influence on the AFU to force them to follow a stable ceasefire and the commitments undertaken,” the representative of the DPR PMD said.
