On December 5, Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin discussed pressing issues with activists of the Young Republic Public Organization and the DPR Youth Parliament. According to the correspondent of the DPR official website, a friendly mini-football match between the team of the Republic’s Government and the national youth team preceded this meeting. Both teams had some goal scoring opportunities, and as a result, the match ended in victory for the youth team with a minimum score of 1:0. By the way, such a format of meeting with the Head of the Republic was proposed by the young people.
Denis Pushilin noted that the game had been fair and interesting.
“Everything should be fair. And everyone should bear an understanding that there is justice. No sideshow is of need now. The youth won, and this is quite normal!” he emphasized at the beginning of the meeting.
The Head of the DPR noted that the young people living in the Republic today enjoy freedom of action.
“The future is yours! You should understand that you can reasonably and timely insist on your position. Today, there are difficulties in many fields, but you should also think of how to deal with it. You will be the ones to live in this country, in the Republic we are building today,” Denis Pushilin addressed the activists.
The Head of the Republic thoroughly and truthfully answered the many questions the young people had asked him. They were interested in many topics: the abolition of the curfew, the effective use of sports complexes and grounds in cities and districts, the problem of stray animals, the participation of DPR youth representatives in art festivals in the Russian Federation, the introductions of scholarships for the most talented students, and support for new creative and scientific projects presented by young people, etc.
When answering a question about the role of the youth in the fight against corruption, Denis Pushilin stressed that he would really count on young people in particular to participate and assist in solving this problem.
“When the corruption shows up, a person gets disappointed in the state, believing that they were treated unfairly. But the inner fear still strong. It is bad to take a bribe, but it is as bad to give it. Young people should think of how to deal with it. Your help is needed. I will be counting on you in this field, on your creative ideas,” Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said.
