The Office of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Donetsk People’s Republic summed up the recent stage of the humanitarian aid distribution that lasted from October 15 to December 9, the Ombudsperson’s press service informs.
Residents of Donetsk, Yenakiyevo, Zugres, Makeyevka, Khartsyzsk, Shakhtyorsk and the urban-type village of Novy Svet, Starobeshevsky District, have received about 1,735 humanitarian packages, including food and personal care products. Among the recipients, there are citizens who live in social facilities in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic and have been affected by the armed aggression of Ukraine.
The humanitarian aid is provided as part of the cooperation between the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
