At the twenty-third meeting of the Сommission of the United Donbass Fund public organization, held on December 5, there were considered and approved 285 appeals from citizens in complicated living situations, Head of the Fund Oleg Balykin stated at the briefing in Donetsk today, on December 10.
“Following the results of the twenty-three meetings held in 2019, the Fund’s Commission approved 4,124 applications, and 4,022 citizens received assistance.
Over the entire period of the Fund’s operation, 31,399 applications have been considered, of which 11,412 applications have been approved. As of December 7, financial assistance has been paid to 11,158 applicants,” Balykin said.
He also noted that the largest number of DPR citizens in need live in Donetsk (2,284 applicants), Makeyevka (597 persons), Gorlovka (264 persons), Enakiyevo (202 persons), and Torez (159 persons). In the temporarily Ukraine-controlled territory of the Donetsk region, the largest number of assisted applicants live in Mariupol (609 persons), Krasnogorovka (552 persons), Volnovakha (339 persons), Konstantinovka (251 persons), and Artyomovsk (120 persons).
The United Donbass Fund allocates assistance as a one-off payment. Those applicants whose appeals have been approved should get the payment in the offices of the Donbass Post State Enterprise or at the Centers for Social Assistance and Administrative Services at entry-exit checkpoints,” the Head of the organization added.
