The DPR Health Ministry’s Republic Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination has designed an international-standard genetic passport. DPR Chief Medical Examiner Dmitry Kalashnikov commented on this significant event today, on December 13.
“The passport is issued on the basis of the genetic profile obtained from the examination of a biological sample. The DPR Health Ministry’s Republic Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination, jointly with the Union of Mothers of Missing Sons and the International Committee of the Red Cross, are engaged in molecular genetic testing,” Dmitry Kalashnikov said.
He also pointed to the need to form a common database and a unified register of the certificates jointly with the Lugansk People’s Republic.
