Cultural organizations of the Republic are expanding their cooperation with Russia

In 2019, the cultural cooperation has been established with 25 regions of the Russian Federation, Minister of Culture Mikhail Zheltyakov said during the enlarged meeting of the DPR Culture Ministry’s Public Council on December 18.

“During the reporting period, over 220 events have been held in the field of culture and art. The brightest event was the participation of employees of museum institutions of the Republic in the VIII International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg, the participation of the Donbass Ensemble in the gala concert as part of the Patriotic Assembly in St. Petersburg, the participation of singers from the Russian Federation in musical projects and concerts held by the Donetsk Philharmonic Society,” he said.

The DPR Minister of Culture also noted that the development of friendly relations between our creative teams and colleagues from Russia, participation of our representatives in international events and festivals in the Russian Federation had been facilitated in the past year.

“In 2019, theatrical and concert organizations of the Republic presented their art to residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sergiev Posad, Bryansk, Rostov-on-Don, Kerch, Stavropol Krai and Krasnodar Krai, Rostov, Kursk and Belgorod Regions,” Mikhail Zheltyakov said.
