On December 19, during the meeting with the mayors of cities, towns and districts, Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin paid special attention to the readiness of urban services for the possible deterioration of weather conditions in winter. According to a correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, mayor of Khartsyzsk Victoria Zhukova made a report on this matter.
“Following the analysis of the situation that emerged in the winter of 2018 and 2019, the administration of Khartsyzsk arranged for the meetings of the rapid response staff for dealing with snow drifts and slippery surfaces with the participation of the heads of organizations and companies of various forms of ownership, who have snow-plow and anti-ice equipment in the inventory. They have elaborated operating procedures for the case of snowdrifts, plans on the movement of equipment to emergency zones for the purpose of prompt management of activities. The unified monitoring service works twenty-four seven, it ensures the real-time interaction between road companies, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the traffic police. In the case of deteriorating weather conditions, we should cope with the situation on the roads of Khartsyzsk,” Victoria Zhukova said.
“Good timing is important, because last year the roads had not been plowed in time, then we had to work in more difficult conditions. It is worth remembering that you have neighboring cities, which can also come to the aid, in particular Makeyevka. Khartsyzsk should not repeat the last winter,” the Head of the Republic stressed.
