Over the last week, Ukrainian militants engaged twenty populated localities of the Republic, having violated the ceasefire fifty-two times, official representative of the DPR PMD Rinat Aygistov reported at a briefing in Donetsk on December 27.
“The enemy again violated the ceasefire having fired thirty-five 120mm and 82mm mortar shells, three hundred and sixteen different types of grenade, seventy-five IFV rounds, forty antiaircraft rounds, and also actively used small arms.
As a result of the attack on the village of Mine 6/7, Gorlovka, by militants from the 58th brigade using 82mm mortars and automatic grenade launchers, a civilian born in 1970 suffered fragmentation wounds in his shoulder and head. The victim was taken to Gorlovka City Hospital 2, where he was given the necessary medical aid.
Moreover, war criminals from the 28th AFU brigade attacked Staromikhaylovka with IFV guns, as a result of which five civil residential buildings at 40, 44, 46, 51 Shevchenko Street and 10 Sovetskaya were damaged, an air shaft in Chelyuskintsev Mine was damaged as well,” Rinat Aygistov reported.
He also emphasized that all information on war crimes with photo and video content had been sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic and to the Prosecutor General’s Office to initiate criminal proceedings.
