Minister of Revenues and Taxes Yevgeny Lavryonov assessed the outgoing year 2019 in an interview with a correspondent of the DPR official website.
“The fiscal year, unlike the calendar year, will end in early February, because taxes for December will reach us in January. Then can we get the final results. But an intermediate analysis showed that the year was a complicated one. Global stagnation has affected our mining and metallurgical industries. The lack of recognition of our state has also taken its toll. Nevertheless, the situation is improving and there are optimistic forecasts,” Yevgeny Lavryonov said.
The Minister noted that the export of coal and metals from the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic increased in December, which will positively affect coal mining and metallurgical enterprises in the near future.
“Revenues in commodity equivalent from the Republic’s agrarians amounted to about a billion rubles this year. In addition, we have finally stabilized the operation of the Silur plant, and the VTS company dispatches its products to this enterprise. Wages have been paid to all employees, that is, we have fixed one of the most acute problems,” the Minister of Revenues and Taxes emphasized.
In addition, Yevgeny Lavryonov added that the former Amstor stores (now Moloko — ed.), which now yield a good profit, had began their work. There has been noticed an increase in cashless payments via POS-terminals, which indicates a climate improvement in the trade sector.
