Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian militants fired at the populated localities of the Republic eight times, official representative of the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Dmitry Astrakhan reported at the briefing in Donetsk on January 14.

  • “On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 59th and 92nd brigades fired at Dolomitnoye and Krasny Partizan with 82mm mortars and small arms.
  • On the Donetsk front, militants of the 56th and 28th brigades fired at Zhabichevo, the Volvo Center area and the Trudovskaya mine’s village with 82mm mortars, anti-aircraft mounts, anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
  • On the Mariupol front, militants of the 10th mountain assault brigade fired at Sakhanka with IFV guns and anti-tank grenade launchers.

Information on the destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties among civilians is being specified,” Dmitry Astrakhan said.
