Journalists of the Official Website have monitored and compared prices of the food basket, the amount of the minimum pension, transportation costs in the Donetsk People’s Republic and in Ukraine.
For example, the amount of the minimum pension in the Donetsk People’s Republic is higher than in Ukraine by 12%. The difference in the cost of vegetables makes 30% to 40%, as for the main products of the grocery basket, the difference is 10% to 30%. Transportation expenses in the Donetsk People’s Republic for travelling in fixed-route taxi in comparison with Ukraine are cheaper by 50%.
