Retirement payments are mandatory for all pensioners in the DPR — DPR Pension Fund Head

The Chairperson of the DPR Pension Fund, Galina Sagaidakova, in an exclusive interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website commented on the information shared via social media concerning the termination of retirement payments by the DPR Pension Fund to citizens of the Republic in the absence of a passport and a taxpayer identification number (TIN) of a citizen of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

“All beneficiaries in the DPR receive pension payments on a mandatory basis, since the passport of a DPR citizen and a Ukrainian citizen are equal identity documents in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The taxpayer identification number issued by the DPR and that issued by Ukraine are absolutely identical sets of numbers, constituting an individual taxpayer number. A TIN in Ukrainian acts has the same effect as a document in Russian,” Galina Sagaidakova commented.
