The enemy violated the ceasefire 19 times over the past day, official representative of the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Oleg Nikitin reported on April 7.
On the Gorlovka front, from the positions of the 58th and 59th brigades, 122mm artillery, 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms were engaged at Zheleznaya Balka, Shirokaya Balka, and the Gagarin and 6/7 mines’ villages.
On the Donetsk front, forces of the 28th, 54th and 57th brigades fired at Zhabichevo, Aleksandrovka, Staromikhailovka, Elenovka, Spartak and the village of Trudovskaya mine in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk with 120mm and 82mm mortars, IFV guns, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. As a result of the nightly shelling of Spartak, there was damaged a power line and residential buildings at 29, 31 and 43 Chapayeva Street. Already in the new 24-hour period, at 9:55 a.m., sniper fire was opened from the positions of the 54th brigade on a convoy of vehicles with employees of the 1-level Vasilievka Pumping Station of the Yuzhnodonbassky Water Conduit.
On the Mariupol front, militants of the 10th brigade fired at Sosnovskoye with 82mm mortars. As a result, a power line was damaged, and Sosnovskoye, Naberezhnoye and Leninskoye were cut off power supply.
